Annual Powwow – Traditional Native American Music & Dance   Sept. 4-6
Tribal dancers of all ages dancing in colorful regalia, Hand Drum Contest, music, singing, favorite traditional food including Indian fry bread and Indian tacos as well as beautifully handcrafted Native American jewelry.

9/11 Memorial Stair Climb   Sept. 5
Teams of Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Military and civilians will climb 110 floors the same number as in the twin towers- and each will climb in the name of a fallen Emergency Responder whose life was lost on that day.

Hormel® Black Label® Bacon Fest   Sept. 5
Celebration of International Bacon Day. It honors America’s favorite cured meat with a one-day, adults-only, all-inclusive sampling event.

Fleet Week San Diego 2015   Sept. 8-Oct. 4

ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – San Diego   Sept. 12
Features a 5K run/walk, 1 mile fun run/walk, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. There will be a special “Celebrating Survivors and ZERO’s Heroes” tent, kids activities, and a beer garden.

Escondido Grape Day   Sept. 12
Start the day with a 5K downtown and then a parade. Spend most of your day in the park. Free grapes, grape stomping, entertainment stage, demonstrations, bake sale, food court, museum tours and more.

Trolley Renewal Community Celebration   Sept. 12
More than five years in the making, the entire Trolley system now features upgraded station amenities, low-floor Trolley service, and approximately 20 miles of track upgrades and numerous street and crossing improvements.

FACE Foundation’s 5K Doggie Dash   Sept. 13
People and dogs take the lead in this 5K fun run, which brings people and their pets together for a day of giving back and getting fit!

USPA Spreckles Cup   Sept. 13
